Boulder 4 Corners
Are you ready to take on the challenge?
32 miles of trail, multi-use paths and roads plus 2000ft of elevation gain!!
Did you know there is a Fat Ass 50K in Boulder?
The Boulder 4 Corners run is a 50 kilometer route around Boulder that traces the perimeter of the town postcode and is open on every day of the year! The route is a mix of Trail, Paths and Road with a solid 2000ft of elevation!
Inspired by the Rocky 50K run and Philly4Corners routes in Philadelphia, B4C founder Alan Dyke created this route to give an accessible but challenging test for aspiring Marathon or Ultrarunners. It’s called a Fat Ass run because there’s no sign up, no t-shirt and no medal at the end… it’s simply a cool challenge!
It’s a Run .. not a Race!
Are you running your first marathon or 50K?
Sometimes signing up for a race or doing a route solo can be a daunting prospect or intimidating. The beauty of a Fat Ass run is that you don’t have to worry about this. Pick your own day, pick your own pace, plan the spots to meet your crew and family then simply head out the door.
The Beauty of the Boulder 4 Corners route is that you see the whole of Boulder while staying within touching distance of trail heads and parking lots that allow crew and family members to provide aid and cheer you on along the way.

“Alan and I ran the Boulder 4 Corners route this summer for my first attempt at the Marathon distance. My family and crew followed along.”
“It was a great route and great run!”
